The Master of Science Study Program in “Hospital Management” is part of the Faculty of Economics, Technology and Innovation.
This program aims to develop and strengthen capacities in the management, planning and administration of health care structures of all levels in the health system in Albania, the region and beyond.
This program aims to develop and strengthen capacities in the management, planning and administration of health care structures of all levels in the health system in Albania, the region and beyond.
The program is designed to give students general knowledge about information systems in the health system, as well as to train professionals in this field. Knowledge gained during the program relates to basic concepts and knowledge related to information systems in the field of management and medicine, in particular, forms of control, storage, processing and dissemination of medical information to patients.
This program also provides knowledge related to issues such as: security, privacy, confidentiality including ethical and social ones. At the same time, it aims to provide students with a broader understanding of the challenges faced by health managers and managers in selecting and implementing a health information system.
The program is also offered to all professionals who are part of the governing and / or management structures of healthcare organizations or who aspire to work in such positions, in order to further train or prepare them for a more effective management of healthcare organizations.
