Western Balkans University is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of a high-level Stakeholder Roundtable, organized by our Department of Pharmacy.
This strategic event marked a significant step forward for healthcare in Albania. Featuring key partnership contributions from Dr. Ali Hindi (University of Manchester / NIHR SPCR), the roundtable bridged the gap between global expertise and national healthcare challenges.
Visionary Leadership The event opened with remarks from Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, Rector of WBU, who underscored the institution's unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare standards. Prof. Gjana highlighted that the future of medicine lies in crucial interprofessional collaboration between physicians and pharmacists.

- Institutional Leadership: Ms. Jeta Deda (Director General, OSHKSH).
- Professional Orders: Representing the Order of Pharmacists of Albania, Mr. Defrim Goma, Mr. Jurgen Babamusta, and Ms. Artida Avdia; and from the Order of Physicians of Albania, Vice President Dr. Fatmir Brahimaj.
- Industry & Practice Experts: Ms. Narvina Sinani (eVita shpk), Mr. Dorian Kalleshi (Cambridge Clinical Laboratories), and PhD (c). Eriona Petro (Primary Health Care Services, Durrës).
