Western Balkans University successfully organized a series of practical trainings on data analysis within the framework of the #Diaspora4Innovation project, implemented by GERMIN and supported by EU4Innovation.
The sessions were led by Dr. Adelajda Matuka from the University of Bologna, who introduced participants to hands-on approaches for analyzing and interpreting data using R-Studio, effectively bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
The training program addressed key topics across different disciplines. Participants from the Faculty of Economics, Technology and Innovation explored the determinants of property prices through data-driven analysis, while sessions with the Faculty of Medicine focused on identifying predictors of cholesterol levels, including variables such as blood pressure, age, and BMI.
These interactive sessions provided valuable tools and practical insights, contributing to the enhancement of both academic research and teaching practices.
Western Balkans University remains committed to promoting innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and international collaboration through initiatives that strengthen data-driven thinking in higher education.
